Jake tilted his head to one side. Master’s clean fresh scent wafted to his nose. Heat spread across his cheeks and his heart fluttered. He realized Max was inches away from. Jake motioned to him.  “Master come join us.”

Max shook his head and continued to sip his wine.  He was enjoying himself right where he was.
